At Career Directed Solutions (CDS), we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients both corporate and individual together with visitors to our website. In this regard, we would like you to know that CDS is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies or organisations.
Who we are:
Career Directed Solutions is a Limited Company formed to provide career transition services, executive coaching and other human resource services to corporate and individual clients.
What sort of information do we collect and how do we process your data:
We record your name, contact details including email address and other demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests to enable us to:
Maintain internal record keeping.
Improve our products and services.
Periodically send promotional emails/newsletters about new products, services or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
Maintain contact with individual clients during the course of our service provision. A brief summary of our individual consultations with you are also recorded to ensure continuity of service delivery and to brief progress should a change of consultant be required.
Mailing List
As part of the registration process for our monthly corporate and consultant newsletters and knowledge gifts, we collect personal information. We use that information for a number of reasons: to advise you of topics that we believe will be of particular interest to you; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information and to check that our records are correct. We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations or businesses.
The Career Directed Solutions Client Centre
Individual clients utilising the CDS Client Centre hosted by Abintegro Ltd, will be asked by the latter company to provide consent to the use of their personal information such as name and email address to facilitate use of the services offered within the Client Centre.
The legal basis:
Your personal data is maintained with your explicit consent and is held strictly under the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2018.
How long is the data stored for?
In the case of individual clients for whom we are providing career transition or executive coaching services, data is electronically stored by CDS Ltd for up to 1 year following which all information is destroyed. For corporate clients, data is stored for as long as consent remains extant.

Access to your personal information:
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Shaun Allred at shaun@careerds.co.uk
A response will be provided asap and no later than one month. You are entitled to complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) if you believe your information is being mishandled.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This policy was inaugurated on 25th May 2018 and will be reviewed annually.
